- **Event Description**: Margaret Kerry was a Friend of the Mouse. And a friend of our predecessor club, the Chapter at the Park. In fact, her first public appearance before Disney fans was with us, back in 1999! When she passed away this June 11 at the age of 97, she left behind a legion of friends and fans. This month we will be remembering her life, her legacy, and her friendship. In addition to what the club has to share, members are encouraged to bring along their own memories, memorabilia, and photos. (Digital photos may also be sent ahead to share as part of the presentation.)

The meeting will begin at 12:30, with a social hour and swap 'n sell starting at 11:30. We will be enjoying snacks at the break-- members are encouraged to bring something tasty to share. You may wish to bring your own beverages, as well. And please be prepared to purchase tickets for our Opportunity Drawing. 

Following the meeting there will be a short meeting of the Board. All members are welcome to attend.

As usual, we will be collecting pasta for Caterina's Club.

HELP NEEDED
When Walt Disney arrived in California, his first studio was the garage at his Uncle Robert’s house. That very garage is now located on the grounds of The Garden Grove Historical Society. As part of the agreement for our meeting space, Friends of the Mouse takes responsibility for cleaning the garage each month. This is a non-labor intensive dusting and sweeping, supplies provided. If you are interested in signing up please see Director-at-Large, Mark Salvaggi or any other board member at any meeting for more information. Thank you!
