More than 150 species of birds have been documented within Avimor's unique riparian and sagebrush steppe habitat. This trail provides great elevated views of species wintering in the shrubs along Spring Valley Creek creek. Be prepared to walk about 2 miles on a single track unpaved trail loop with sand and gravel.Recently reported species can be seen here: https://ebird.org/hotspot/L714392Accessibility: This trip may be suitable for those with visual impairment who are comfortable on unpaved hikes. This trip requires moderate hiking and is not suited for those with limited mobility, and is not wheelchair accessible.Birding Skill Level: All levels are welcome. Binoculars will be available if needed.Age: Participants younger than 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and participants younger than 18 must have a parent/guardian sign the liability release.Time: 10:00am - 12:00pm. Check-in is at 9:50am. Please arrive at check-in so we can start on time.: We will meet at the parking lot of Foothills Heritage Park, and walk across the trailhead to Spring Creek Valley Trail together.
