@followers Yes, it's hot outside, but cool blues music is in the air every Tuesday in August on Blues Tuesdays hosted by the Idaho Blues Society at the Sandbar Patio & Grill, the Riverside Hotel's outdoor venue by the Boise River in Garden City.
Here's the August Blues Tuesdays schedule of bands playing 6 - 9 p.m. at the Sandbar:
🎵 August 5: The Jeff Engelbert Band plays blues and rock from every era as well as originals created by these professional artists who have been in the music industry for well over 35 years.
🎵 August 12: Blues to Lose is a blues-savvy, classic-rock cover band, playing songs by such artists as the Allman Brothers, Eric Clapton, Screamin’ Jay Hawkins, Kenny Wayne Sheppard, Robert Cray and many more.
🎵 August 19: The Main Event, a vibrant musical collective with a deep passion for rhythm & blues and classic rock, will be playing some of your favorite danceable blues tunes.
🎵 August 26: The Deb Michels Gang plays blues classics and a tasty plate of blues originals written by Band Leader Deb Michels.
The Sandbar, located at 2900 Chinden Blvd, is an all-ages venue that offers a full-service bar and fresh, grilled cuisine.
