- **Event Description**: Twice a month, Jade will lead Open Teaching Apiary times.  They will be on:

the second Saturday of each month from 10:00am to 11:00am and
the third Thursday of each month from 6:00pm to 7:00pm
Based out of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, the Great Plain Master Beekeeping program is a regional education program that spans the Midwest. They partner with beekeeping organizations and other educators across the region to bring education opportunities for both new and experienced beekeepers.  

Those attending this event at the makerspace will need to register for the free program through UNL, UNL GPMB Program, as well as register for the GPMS event.  If you have your own protective equipment, you should bring it, but we will have some jacket available.  Please wear appropriate clothing: solid pants and shoes.

If you are under the age of 16, you and an adult will need to register and attend together.
