- **Event Description**: We tried really hard to get the Fundamentals of Jiu Jitsu class started for April but life happened and now we're in mid May!! Starting in June, every Tuesday from 5:00-5:45 I will be running a class that is 100% geared towards beginners. 

Class content will be structured around learning the movements and principles that are common in all techniques, drilling these movements, and playing task based games with a partner to understand how each movement is applied with live motion and reactions. We also will go over all of the basic positions of Jiu Jitsu such as the guard, mount, back control, side control and standing and incorporate techniques from all positions. 

There will be no hard sparring in this class. The goal for the fundamentals class is to introduce you to Jiu jitsu, one of the most effective and proven hand to hand combat systems of all time.
