December 6 Memorial

On December 6 at 4:30pm, join IWAV & The Circle Education at the Gazebo in Centennial Park for the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women.

We remember the 14 women killed at École Polytechnique in 1989, and all women, girls, and gender-diverse people lost to femicide and gender-based violence—including this past year.

We honour survivors, missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls, Black and Indigenous women and women of colour, and 2SLGBTQIA+ community members impacted by violence.
