🌿 Come join us for a fun and impactful morning along the stunning Kokosing Scenic River! 🌿

We are so excited to invite you to join us for a morning where community, nature, and purpose flow together like the river itself. On March 7th, we’ll gather along the Kokosing, a place that has offered us quiet mornings, and the kind of beauty that asks to be protected.
We’ll begin with warm coffee and fresh donuts, letting the morning settle in around us. Then we’ll walk the riverbanks and roadways together, picking up what doesn’t belong, clearing space for life to thrive. Every piece of litter we remove becomes a small act of restoration, a way of protecting the water, the soil, and the creatures who depend on this place.
As we work, the river will offer its own rewards. Some may include:
Graceful eagles circling overhead
Herons lifting from the shallows
Deer moving quietly through the trees
Sunlight glinting on the water like a promise
Each moment reminds us that our efforts ripple outward, helping fish breathe easier, bird's nest safely, and native plants reclaim their space. A cleaner river strengthens the entire ecosystem, from the tiniest insects to the largest wings in the sky.
This cleanup isn’t just an event, it’s a shared moment of stewardship, a way to honor the river and land that holds so many of our memories.
New This Year:
Volunteer will be entered into our Friends of Ko Swag Bag Drawing every time they participate at any of our scheduled roadway cleanups. The more events you attend the more entries you receive. One lucky person will win a Friends of Ko t-shirt, coffee thermos, stickers and a very generous mystery gift.
Winner will be announced on April 26th, 2026.
