If you have had a personal experience with Oesophageal Cancer, 
we would like to invite you and your guest to attend our next Regional Support / Wellness Meeting on Saturday 15th November 2025 in the Maldron Hotel, Sandy Road, Galway. 

The aim of the meeting is for people affected by Oesophageal Cancer to meet others in similar circumstances and to get some practical tips from both the experts and the experienced.   

Our agenda is always very practical and patient centred, and topics covered will include diet, sleep, exercise and wellbeing. We have also invited two people living with and beyond Oesophageal Cancer to share their story and we will be welcoming some of the medical team from University Hospital Galway who will be there on the day. 

Our friends from Care to Comfort will demonstrate their adaptable electric bed and this will be followed by our open forum giving you an opportunity to ask questions to the group. 

If you have any particular questions you would like to see answered on the day you can also let us know in advance by emailing info@ocf.ie/ 

The meeting will be followed by a light informal lunch, and time to chat.   We really hope you can make it and we look forward to seeing you there.
