The Skehana & District Heritage Group will hold its Annual General Meeting on Monday, November 10th, at 8 pm in the Esker Room at the Skehana Community Development. This is an open invitation to everybody with an interest in local heritage and culture to participate as a member for the coming year. It is an opportunity for our group to review our activities for the year gone by and to look ahead to the coming year with many more projects to be embraced. 

We are pleased to report a very successful 2025 to date and we have a healthy end-of-year financial account that was prudently administered and managed throughout the year.

We will also be electing a team of officers to lead the group for this challenge. Many individuals avoid AGMs as history often reveals that attendees can feel cajoled or pressured into being an officer that they may not feel comfortable with. This is not how we operate and in fact we would encourage new members to participate as they feel best suited to themselves for a period of time as they grow into understanding how the group operates and what aspects best suit their own interests and skills.
