In honor of the 114th celebration of Mardi Gras! Galveston, Yaga's Entertainment, Inc. would like to invite students and artists from Galveston Island and the surrounding areas to submit an official Mardi Gras! Galveston poster design.
The winning poster will be reproduced as a commemorative poster to be released as part of Mardi Gras! Galveston 2025. The artist with the winning poster will receive a $1000 award. If the winning artist is a high school student, the student will receive a $500 award and the High School Art Department will receive a $500 award.
Submissions must:
- include "Mardi Gras! Galveston" and "114th Celebration" on it
- reflect the spirit and revelry of Mardi Gras! Galveston
- be an 18" x 24" vertical format with a high resolution 300dpi electronic file in required size
- be framed and/or mounted on hard backing
- include the filled out Entry Form from our website and a $25 entry fee (waived if artist is a student)
Submissions will be accepted Monday, October 14, 2024 – Friday, January 24, 2025, and should be delivered to Yaga’s Entertainment, Inc. 2314 Strand, Galveston, TX 77550. Between 9:00am and 3:00pm.

All Krewe and Official Mardi Gras! Galveston Poster Unveiling Event will be Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Beerfoot Brewery at 7pm, 28th/Seawall Blvd.
