Tour areas of Moody Mansion not normally open to the public, guided by a knowledgeable docent. Tickets are limited to 10 total guests and are $35 per person.
On the ground floor, you will see the mansion’s kitchen, including the dumb waiter, speaking tube system, pantry, electrical box and a portion of the plumbing system – all of which are now part of the Galveston Children’s Museum. On the top floor, you will see artifact storage areas, curatorial spaces and the commanding view of Galveston from one of the mansion’s trademark turrets. These all-access tours are the best opportunity the public has to view all floors of the historic property.
