Kristina Marie Castañeda is an Iowa singer-songwriter. She grew up religiously inhaling her dad's vinyl records and rocking hymns with grandma on her organ bench, up in the church balcony with the choirs.

With familial roots straddling both the Midwest heartland and Latin America, the influences heard in her music embody Americana, rock, folk, country, jazz, blues, indie, bossanova, and samba. For Kristina, every sound, and the sacred space between sounds, is musical. Sharing music with the masses fulfills her desire for human connection and community.
