Staying Afloat (6 week course)

We are delighted to be running our popular Staying Afloat 6 week course again. These 2 hour weekly peer-group workshops peer is facilitated by a trainer and aims to turn the focus from the person you care for to yourself.
The workshops will help you to think about you and how you can keep yourself physically and mentally well (therefore increasing your capacity to care for another person), make more time for yourself, discover new things you might enjoy doing and perhaps make some new friends.
You will be personally supported by the Carers Liaison Worker throughout the entirety of your own personal 'journey of discovery' to ensure that the issues which are identified during the process are properly addressed to empower you.
Please note - you are strongly encouraged to attend every session in order to achieve the best results.
