"Wicked" Open Studio craft workshop in Montgomery County, Md.

Who’s excited for the Nov. 21 release of “Wicked: For Good”?! Our November Open Studio session will be dedicated to preparing for the second installment in the story of everyone’s favorite witches. Our Open Studio workshops are open house style, so stay for a few minutes, or hang out all day.

This event is not just for kids! Adults are invited to get crafty with us, whether you've got a kid with you or not.

Open Studio workshops feature crafting stations, so you can try a bit of everything, or spend longer on your favorites. We’re still finalizing our projects, but you can expect:

• At least one accessory that you can wear to the theater when you see the movie.
• A wall hanging that you can customize for your favorite character.
• Lots of charms, trinkets and other whimsical supplies befitting the magical world of Oz.
• And of course, the soundtrack for singing along!

All the projects are open-ended, and ready for you to put your own spin on them. There will be no official instruction, but we will offer lots of inspiration if you need it.

Tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the door. It helps us so much to know how many people to expect, so advance tickets are discounted! Crafters 4 and under are free, but must be accompanied by a paying adult.

This is not a drop-off event. All children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
