The Gaithersburg Artist Collective is hosting a family-friendly Earth Day Arts & Crafts Event! Free activities, eco‑crafts, and fun for all ages! Join us inside and just outside of Artists on Market on Saturday, April 18 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.. Participate in fun and creative drop-in crafts, Earth-Day themed activities, and learn more about ways that you can do your part to take care of our beautiful planet.

Planned activities include:
-decorating seed pots
-learning more about the Monarch Butterflies
-participating in Woven in Nature, an eco-friendly re-purposing activity weaving branches with non-recyclable plastics and yarn
-decorating your own birdhouse
-enjoying a talk on Native Plantings

In addition, we will expand on our Spring Show with more “green-themed artwork” for sale on the day of this event.
