Halloween Open Studio craft workshop in Montgomery County, Md.

Let’s spend a few crafty hours getting ready for Halloween! Join us for our October Open Studio — stay for a few minutes, or hang out all day. Bring a friend, a kid, a partner or come alone. Crafters of all ages will find something fun to make, we’re sure of it.

This event is not just for kids! Adults are invited to get crafty with us, whether you've got a kid with you or not.

As always. we’ll have several stations set up for your crafting pleasure, all with a Halloween theme, including:

• Two seasonal decor projects that you can enjoy all month long, including one of our favorite crafts — trinket collage!
• A Halloween charm bar — choose cute or spooky charms (or both!) to make a bracelet or keychain.
• A Halloween coloring station, including cards to send to grandparents, cousins and friends.
• And more!

All the projects are open-ended, and ready for you to put your own spin on them. There will be no official instruction, but we will offer lots of inspiration if you need it.

Tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the door. It helps us so much to know how many people to expect, so advance tickets are discounted! Crafters 4 and under are free, but must be accompanied by a paying adult.

This is not a drop-off event. All children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
