It is conveniently located just 12 miles NW of Washington D. C. in Gaithersburg, Maryland.Come relive the glory days of railroad when the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, Western Maryland and the Virginian Railroads were kings of transportation. Some of the items that will be there are railroad lanterns, switch locks and keys, dining car china and silver, timetables, advertising posters, art work and much more. For the modeler there will be several dealers with many model items for sale in all scales.There will be available a General Admission Ticket ($10.00) on Sunday, November 1st, 2026 as well as an Early Admission Ticket ($45.00), which will allow entrance with the dealers as they set up their artifacts. This Early Admission Ticket is available on Saturday, October 31st from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, and again on Sunday, November 1st from 7:00 am to closing at 3:30 pm. This special early Admission Ticket is good for both days.Once again"The Premier Railroad Transportation Show in the United States" opens on November 1, 2026 from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds, 16 Chestnut Street, Gaithersburg, Maryland, 20877. Free parking. Tickets are available through Eventbrite or at the door.
