The story follows Ella Starr, a shy young woman working as a cleaner in a once-famous recording studio run by Maxine Crumb, a retired Motown diva who’s bitter that her glory days have faded. The journey blends Motown rhythm, gospel warmth, and Cinderella-inspired hope—a celebration of legacy, resilience, and the healing power of music.
