(Finished pieces will be picked up 2 weeks after class.)About this EventFor this project, students will work on tiles using a variety of surface design techniques. Optionally, you can bring in a few leather-hard greenware pieces. We will cover mishima, sgraffito, monotype transfer with slip, and wax/latex resist. Each student will create 3-4 bisqued tiles or design on their own greenware piece. Your fully glazed piece can be picked up approximately two weeks later. The workshop will be held in the Ceramics Studio; on the day of the workshop, follow the signs to the location.Please note there will be a break from noon to 12:30 p.m.This workshop is best for ages 12 and up. The workshop is free, and necessary materials will be provided. Advanced registration is required and is limited to 12 participants.
