Monday, August 10 at 6:00pm and Wednesday, August 12 at 9:00am are free to attend, twelve spots each. No code needed, just reserve your seat. Come find out what your own breath can do.SOMA Breath® combines rhythmic breathing, music, and guided meditation. I facilitate, the breath does the work. You lie down, you follow the rhythm, and your body remembers something it has known all along. Some people leave energized. Some leave lighter. Some cry and can't say why. All of it is welcome.No experience with breathwork is needed. You do not need to be flexible, calm, spiritual, or good at meditating. You need to be able to lie down and breathe.I'm Gerri, a certified SOMA Breath® facilitator and leadership coach. I came to this work through my own burnout. I facilitate because I know what it costs to keep going without ever putting yourself on the list.For this series, we're meeting at Hilda Hair Salon, a place you may already come to be cared for. Come back and enjoy it in a different way.WHEN WE MEETMondays at 6:00pm and Wednesdays at 9:00am, August 10 through September 9. Free parking and entrance at the rear of the building.WHAT TO BRINGLoose, comfortable clothing. A mat, a pillow or two, and a blanket if you have them. A water bottle. Please arrive ten minutes early so we can begin together.BEFORE YOU REGISTERRhythmic breathing is safe for most people. Breath holds are not recommended if you are in your third trimester of pregnancy, have epilepsy, a serious heart condition, or a pacemaker, or have recently had a heart attack. You are welcome to skip the holds at any time and still receive the full benefit of the practice. Seek advice from your healthcare professional prior to participation if you are currently under medical treatment and are unsure if participating is right for you.==
