We’re excited to announce our 2026 Spring Buckle Series, made up of two AKC Herding Trials—and Trial 1 is officially on the calendar!

March 27–29, 2026  -  at On The Lamb, Gaffney, SC

? ALL-BREED AKC HERDING TRIAL
All breeds are welcome!

✨ Classes Offered:
• Herding Tested (HT)
• Pre-Trial Tested (PT)
• A Course – Sheep & Ducks
• B Course – Sheep & Ducks
• Levels offered: Started, Intermediate, and Advanced (all levels, all courses)

⭐ NEW! Special Veterans Class ⭐
We are proud to host our first-ever Special Veterans Class!
• Open to dogs 10 years and older
• Run on Started A Course – Sheep
• Non-regular class (no titles awarded)
• Placement ribbons will be awarded

? Spring Buckle Series Awards ?
Buckle awards will be presented after Trial 2
? May 29–31, 2026
• Buckles awarded for High Combined Scores from both March and May trials
• One buckle each for:
? Started
? Intermediate
? Advanced
• 3 Buckles total will be awarded

• Entries open: February 1 – March 17, 2026
• Trial premiums available on the AKC Events page
• Or email hcctrialsecretary@gmail.com to request a copy

• Mail entry with check to the address listed on the entry form
• OR enter by email by sending your completed entry form to

• Email entries may pay via Venmo or Zelle
