About the Sprint Vehicle
The Sprint unit was developed during COVID as EMS resources were stressed nationally to a breaking point. The unit allows Paramedics and Advanced EMT’s to conserve advanced level resources for true life threatening illness and injury and still have basic transport services available for non-emergent transport needs. This unit carries most of the Advance Life Support equipment on board to be utilized until a transport unit arrives. This unit can also support and resupply our ambulances while they continue responding to calls instead of calling out of service to resupply each unit.
