For 30 years, the Cedar Farmers Market has been connecting local farmers, food producers, artists, musicians, and community members. This year, we're celebrating our 30th anniversary with a special thank-you to the Cedar community that has supported us every step of the way.

Join us on Sunday, June 28 for a day of local food, live entertainment, family activities, and community celebration.

??? 100% local and turning 30! BC's 3rd biggest farmers market is in the picturesque Cedar Valley. This lush farming community is a short 10-minute drive from Nanaimo and we know how to grow crops, build beautiful things, and play some good tunes!

The big market in a small town — all 100+ of our vendors are local. We specialize in fresh food, but also feature talented artisans, builders, musicians, and community groups.

As a thank-you to the community that has supported local farmers and local families for three decades, we're bringing some extra fun to the market:

? Free bouncy castles
? Free high striker game
? Free face painting with Vancouver Island Facepainting
? Living statue entertainer
? Live music by Mark Crissinger
? Free Kids Art Tent
? Food trucks and cold treats
? 100+ local vendors

We're hosting this celebration before summer vacations begin and as students wrap up their final week of school. Bring the whole family and help us celebrate 30 incredible years of local food, local businesses, and community connection.

? Community Giving

As a non-profit organization, we rely on community support to help provide extras that make the market welcoming and accessible for everyone. You'll find our donation box at the market entrance each week, and those contributions help fund things like free drinking water for shoppers, art supplies for the Kids Art Tent, and other community amenities.

This week, all donations collected will be directed to the family of Kaitlyn Bohati.
