Trainer, Nelson Detweiler, will work with unhandled horses over several days to ultimately have each horse more gentled than at the start.

Many dangerous, unfortunate situations have been highlighted in the last year of what happens to unhandled horses in the hands of those who aren't experienced in proper gentling techniques.

We know we can help!

This Feral Horse Course will help you better start initial interactions with unhandled/feral/wild horses safety and humanely. 

This course will help you avoid beginning on the wrong foot where you accidentally creating fear and misunderstanding right away and hinder progress.

This clinic plans to cover, pending horse response:
Initial touch, haltering, leading, loading, picking up feet.

This is NOT a colt starting event.

Open to Rescues and Trainers. 
Audit fee to be shared soon.
Hands on fee to be shared soon.

ASPCA partners have no fee to attend 

Plan to pack a lunch and bring a chair 

This is filmed as part of a grant series for access to partners virtually at a later date.
