This is event to host an iftar (which is breaking fast (bread) in the month of Ramadan) in which we plan to invite not only Muslim community members but also members from many other faith and ethic communities from the greater LA area. This is a remarkable opportunity to show solidarity and unity among not just various Muslim organizations and religious groups but also to remind all that we share same human values, respect, and dignities as do rest of our citizens of this great city, irrespective of race, color, religion, or the origin of an individual.
