Stolze sieben mal Mal hat Gianni Serusi als THE BLUES AGAINST YOUTH uns nun schon beglückt. Und jetzt, nach über 15 Jahren und der Wandlung vom „Pure At Heart Blues“ zum „Country Rock Primitive One Man Experiment“, bringt er die Essenz seines Wirkens erstmals als Trio auf die Straße. Und da kommen Bands wie THE LINGS, ANTARES oder SNÜFF ins Spiel, die alle auch schon im kunstkeller Freude verbreitet haben und bei denen Gianni sich die famosen Paolo Negretto am Bass und Giorgia Malagò an den Drums als Begleitung ausgeliehen hat. Wenig überraschend ist, dass seine Songs im Bandkontext deutlich „einfacher verdaulich“ rüberkommen, aber es erweitert seinen musikalischen Horizont auch erheblich in Richtung „Americana“, da nicht nur zu dritt musiziert, sondern auch gesungen wird. „Acid-groove-rock mix still looking up to the country and still soaked in diesel“ - wir machen schon mal die Entlüftungsanlage an!
