Frankreich gilt als eine der Hochburgen der Akkordeon-Jazzmusik. Schon bei Jazzlegende Django Reinhardt spielte es eine wichtige Rolle. Heute sind es Musiker wie Richard Galliano oder Vincent Peirani, die das Feuer am brennen halten.
 
Aber auch in Franken gibt es namhafte Virtuosen an diesem Instrument. Zwei davon treffen sich heute auf der Freilichtbühne. 
 
Die musikalische Reise an diesem Nachmittag überstreicht ein breites Musikspektrum von Gypsy-Swing, über südosteuropäischer Folkore bis Klezmermusik, bis hin zu Tango und New Musette. Jazz, wie man ihn z.B. von Richard Galliano kennt.
