Our five day retreat will take place in the Five Lakes region of Japan. Our renovated, 100-year-old traditional house is 10-minute walk away from lake Kawaguchi. 

1. Take in the beauty and quiet grandeur of Mount Fuji.The mountain is visible from every bedroom of the house, a constant presence on the horizon. Considered a major Third Eye Chakra in various spiritual traditions, and the holiest of Japan’s Three Holy Mountains, it carries an energy that many describe as transformative: powerful yet serene. A mighty presence that feels both grounding and expansive.

2. Japanese Culture and TraditionsWe will immerse ourselves in the living traditions of Japan. A private kimono dressing with a kitsukeshi (kimono dressing specialist) offers a rare opportunity to experience the artistry, symbolism history, and etiquette behind this timeless garment. We will also visit a traditional village, where you’ll have the chance to engage with a local craft and connect with Japan’s cultural heritage in a hands-on, meaningful way.

3. A Taste of JapanWe will explore Japan through the senses. From fresh, nourishing seasonal ingredients to an elegant kaiseki dinner and carefully selected regional delicacies. This is an opportunity to savor Japanese cuisine in its most authentic and thoughtful form. Japan takes its food seriously and we'll try to relate.

4. Zen, Nature, and Autumn LightWe will step into stillness. On the list of our activities: a meditation in a shrine surrounded by cedar woods; traditional tea ceremony. Slow walks along maple-lined paths, forest bathing (we'll talk more about this term ��) deep breaths in the backdrop of autumn colors.

5. Rest and RenewalTime is set aside for restoration. We will experience body relaxation in the onsens (natural hot springs), we will have a chance to detox and recharge in the sauna in the house. 

Optional Kundalini Activations and guided meditations create space for inner clarity, allowing body and mind to unwind in harmony.

6. Iconic ViewsSome of Japan’s most photographed scenes are just moments away. The famous Mount Fuji will be rising on the background, Lake Kawaguchi is a walking distance from the house, iconic Lawson convenience store is 20 mins away by foot from the house. The striking Chureito Pagoda offers another unforgettable vantage point. 

I promise you lots of very beautiful photos. Get your cameras ready!A Thoughtful PaceWhile the program is rich and carefully curated, all activities are optional. You are invited to participate in what resonates and to take time for yourself whenever needed. 
The rhythm of the experience is designed to support outer and inner exploration as well as rest.
