Please join us for a Christmas in July celebration to launch the newly published book - The Jack Story. The Huller family has created this children’s book for the benefit of ALS United Ohio. 

Date: Thursday July 30th, 2026 
Time: 6:00pm - 9:00pm
Location: Blessed Sacrament Church Undercroft
Who's Invited: All are welcome, the more the merrier! Wear your red, green, and Christmas attire! 

Light refreshments will be served, and the book will be available for purchase (Venmo, cash and check only).  There will be many Christmas themed features, including a photo station, Christmas themed characters, appetizers, Christmas cookies, desserts, and more! 

About The Jack Story  
For generations, the Huller family has gathered on Christmas Eve to hear a special tale—an impromptu story first told by Leona (Isphording) Huller as she watched over her grandchildren many decades ago. She could never have imagined that her simple Christmas Eve tradition would become a beloved family ritual, passed down year after year, and eventually brought to life in book form.

The Jack Story follows Leona’s oldest son, Jack, whose boundless curiosity led to an unforgettable Christmas adventure. Told only once each year, this story has become a treasured part of the Huller family’s holiday celebration—one filled with wonder, mischief, excitement, and the magic of childhood at Christmastime.

On July 30th, The Jack Story Book Launch celebrates the preservation of that tradition. Lovingly retold by Leona’s grandson, Tom Huller, and compiled by Annie Huller Pollock, Katie Huller Dieruf, Tommy Huller, and Sara Fay, this book ensures that Jack’s adventure will continue to delight families for generations to come.

We’re honored to share this piece of our family history with you as The Jack Story begins its next chapter.
