The Fruitvale Volunteer Fire Department is rolling out the fire trucks and firing up the grill—right in the Dollar General parking lot—and the whole community is invited!

Come meet your hometown heroes, check out the fire trucks up close, and let the kids explore and ask all the questions they’ve ever wanted to ask a firefighter. We’ll have firefighters on hand to say hello, show off the rigs, and share a little behind-the-scenes of what it takes to protect our community.

And yes… there will be hot dogs 🌭 because saving the day works up an appetite.

No sirens. No emergencies. Just a fun, relaxed chance to meet the faces behind the gear, tour the trucks, and enjoy a good hot dog with even better company.

Bring the kids. Bring your appetite. Come hang out with the heroes who have Fruitvale’s back.
