Apple Alley's Production of DRACULA will be held at Mountain City Traditional Arts Oct 9-11 & Oct 16-18. Tech week will be held Oct 4-8 and all rehearsals this week are mandatory. 

The production will be directed by Dana Bridges. 

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN:

* Count Dracula: The ancient, predatory vampire seeking to spread his curse to London.

* Mina (Murray) Harker: The heroine of the play who takes charge to uncover the mystery and save herself and her friends.

* Jonathan Harker: Mina’s fiancé and a businessman who travels to Transylvania to negotiate a property deal with Dracula.

* Dr. Abraham Van Helsing: A professor and paranormal expert called upon to understand and combat the supernatural forces.

* Dr. John Seward: A psychiatrist who manages a lunatic asylum and is one of Lucy’s suitors.

* Lucy Westenra: Mina’s vulnerable friend and the first target of Dracula’s terror in England.

* Renfield: An inmate at Dr. Seward’s asylum who exhibits a dangerous obsession with consuming life, serving as both a pawn for Dracula and a source of dark comic relief.

Rounding out the cast are the Brides of Dracula (often referred to as Vixens), along with asylum attendants and guards.
