Investigative Journalist and Filmmaker Ben Westhoff Film Screening and Panel Discussion

From the author of "Fentanyl, Inc." comes St. Louis investigative journalist Ben Westhoff's first film, "Antagonist: How a Wonder Drug Got Sidelined." Filmed largely on the streets of St. Louis, the documentary explores how a medicine called naltrexone, despite helping many people beat opioid and alcohol addictions, has been buried by junk science and big-money interests. The work shows how a salty contrarian named Percy Menzies, founder of the local treatment center ARCA, fights against the tide in an effort to cure addiction and save lives.
