Held in an inclusive and welcoming environment, the day is designed to allow you to learn what hedgelaying is, what benefits it brings to biodiversity and how to have a go at it using simple tools ???

No previous experience is needed, as we’ll guide you through safe tool usage. We’ll help you build confidence and show you step by step how to create a hedge that’s beautiful and beneficial to birds, mammals and other creatures!

Hot lunch is included and for the last hour we encourage you to invite friends and family to gather around the fire for a cake, toasted marshmallows and a well-deserved rest after a day of hard work ?
