- **Event Description**: Frome Town Council Healthy Homes Team (also a Green and Healthy Frome project) offers free advice and practical support along with guidance to help people access grants or low-interest loans to reduce bills, tackle damp and futureproof their homes. Whether it's small changes like draughtproofing or bigger upgrades like insulation and solar panels, we’re here to help people create a home that’s better for their wellbeing, their wallet, and the planet.

Estimates suggest that some 10 per cent of excess winter deaths (EWDs) are directly attributable to fuel poverty and 21.5 per cent are attributable to cold homes (UCL / Institute of Health Equity). We would like to help bring those numbers down in Frome, and as you may come directly into contact with people who are more at risk because of fuel poverty we really need your help!
