Born from a love of traditional Scottish folk, dub reggae and dance music, An Dannsa Dub summon the joyous, communal energy of a cèilidh and a sound system session.
They will be returning to The Tree House after sell out appearances in 2023 + 2024 with their inimitable fusion of styles on Saturday 29th November.
Formed in 2020, An Dannsa Dub—led by Tom Spirals and Euan McLaughlin—have been making waves in the UK and beyond. Twice nominated for Live Act of the Year at the MG Alba Scots Trad Music Awards (23/24) as well as The 2023 Scottish Alternative Music Awards, the band has garnered critical acclaim for their ability to seamlessly blend the mystical sounds of Gaelic song and traditional Scottish instruments with the pulsating rhythms and deep basslines of digital dub.
Fans can expect an electrifying live show’ where An Dannsa Dub will bring their signature high energy, genre-blending performance to the stage alongside award winning Gaelic vocalist Josie Duncan and their all star team of Nicky Kirk (Guitar), Maxi Roots (Bass) and Ben Burnside (Drums).
