* Our VAGF Member Artists are encouraged to bring a piece of original art for Artist of the Month voting.
* The meeting is free for members, while guests are encouraged to make a $10 donation at the door.

Please welcome our guest presenter: 
Jen Seibert is a visual artist based in Texas, art professor

TOPIC: An Artist's Journey
    
    Her national and international exhibitions include work at MAD Centre Gallery in Albania, Cité Internationale Universitaire in Paris, ARTSpace: CAA, New York, NY, ICARTS Italia, Monte Castello di Vibio, Italy. 

She has had multiple lectures and exhibitions throughout Texas, Ohio, Michigan, Iowa, Georgia, Alberta, California, Arizona, and Indiana. She’s had the privilege of participating in residencies such as the CAC Woodside Residency in New York, Cité Internationale Universitaire Artist Residency at Provinces de France, and the International School of Art in Umbria, Italy, with full research grant funding.  She has won awards from nationally recognized jurors, from the producers of PBS, and from the 48-hour film festival critics. Jen’s work has been featured in exhibitions by the curator of Exhibitions from the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art, the curator of Modern and Contemporary Fine Art with the Heritage Auction House, and many other respected curators. 

In addition to her exhibition, lectures, and research travels, Jen has completed over 600 commissioned works in the past four years, building strong community connections and exploring the evolving landscape of online engagement for artists. Her ability to bridge studio practice with community involvement and to create meaningful connections within both local and international contexts are in an effort to research how artists can thrive in our digitally driven community.
