Adopt-A-Beach – #4 for 2025 Saturday, November 1, We will meet on Billy Mitchel Rd at the pull off just before Frisco campground and the fork for the ramp entrance of RAMP 48 and 49 at a new time “10:00AM.” **Note: if planning to participate in this event, please sign up prior to the event to there’s an accurate head count. Details at the end of this message.
The plan is to cleanup all litter and trash on the access ramps, the beach, and the parking areas. We will be driving and walking the beach from Ramp 48 to Ramp 49 looking for trash, litter, boards, burned firewood, etc… NPS will be providing a clean up kit. Things to also bring in addition to are trash bags, grabbers, a 5 gallon bucket, sunscreen, sun protection, and cooler with snacks and water.
Im hoping it won’t take more than 2-hours to complete.
Pack a lunch! Following the cleanup, we will pull up some sand and enjoy the view.
