Most people think Special Olympics is funded.
It’s not.
Right here in our community, over 235 athletes are training, competing, and showing up week after week — and the program is paying nearly $800 every single week just so the basketball teams have a gym to practice in.
Not uniforms.
Not travel.
Not extras.
Just… a place to play.
These kids don’t ask for special treatment.
They ask for opportunity.
This Friday night at Strikz, there’s a bowling fundraiser and auction to help keep their seasons alive.
You can bowl.
You can bid.
You can sponsor.
Or you can simply donate.
Not everyone can give big… but a lot of people giving a little changes everything.
If you’ve ever wanted to make a real difference locally, this is it.
