Meet at the Historic Park Gazebo for a quick lesson on Summit County birds, then head out to Rainbow Lake with your trail guide, USFS staff member Rita Frederick.

This hike is limited to 10 people. Please call the Museum at 970-668-3428 to sign up. We are unable to accommodate walk-ups for this hike.

The Rainbow Lake Trail is a 1.5-mile out-and-back trail with 150 feet of elevation gain. Please bring a water bottle, a hat, and wear sunscreen and good shoes. If you have a set of binoculars please bring them with you. We are unable to accommodate pets on this tour.
