Key Ridge, Colorado—a small, mountain ski town and also Mattie’s last shot at escaping the wreckage of her once-perfect life. Her new job at the local ski lodge feels like the perfect place for a fresh start—except for one thing. Her new boss, Giles Stone might have been a successful pro snowboarder, but that doesn’t make him any less of a jerk. Gruff, cold, and closed off, he's definitely not Mattie's biggest fan. Mattie is determined to keep her distance, but in a town as small as Key Ridge, avoiding him is easier said than done. But the more their paths cross, Mattie catches glimpses of a different, softer side of Giles. Even though there’s a spark there, letting her guard down isn't easy, and Mattie has to decide if she’s willing to risk her heart again...

Allison Speka is an indie romance author that writes light spice, heavy banter romcoms. She is originally from Michigan and has now called Colorado home for the past 8 years. A self-proclaimed romance aficionado, Allison has been lost in the pages of love stories since she discovered the genre.
