- **Event Description**: Discover 1920s intrigue with local author Michelle Salter and her passion for classic M**der mysteries.About this EventLocal author Michelle Salter will be joining us to share her love of the golden age of the roaring twenties within the classic M**der mystery style of "whodunit" novels.Michelle enjoys her research into the history of the local area and is eager to share with you all much of the fascinating information that she has gathered which make her books so full of historical knowledge and interesting information about the locations where many of her cosy thrillers are based.The wonderful Hampshire countryside is where her Iris Woodmore Mystery series is based, including Crookham Hall and Waldenmere Lake.There are six books in the Iris Woodmere Mystery series so far. The intrigue began with 'Death at Crookham Hall' and thrillingly takes us on a variety of investigations up to and including the sixth book of 'M**der at Mill Ponds House'.Join us for what we believe will be a fascinating evening where Michelle will be providing a short presentation followed by a Q&A. She will also be available to sign her books.About the author:Michelle Salter writes historical crime and cosy mysteries, including the Iris Woodmore and Fairbanks & Flynn series. Her character-driven stories feature suffragettes, pioneering women, and classic whodunit intrigue. When she’s not writing, Michelle enjoys researching history and sharing fascinating facts from the Edwardian era and Roaring Twenties.
