- **Event Description**: Finally got my first SUP and would like to get some water time. Would love to have SUP friends join me for this laid back time on the water. The lake is a large open area and you are visible from every angle. We will be paddling up and around the water and taking some stops for rest, conversation, and photos.

The park has a nice deck and launch site, nearby bathrooms, a running track around the park with huge trees, and a covered pavilion with grills and tables. Its a nice park with a closed in lake for people to enjoy themselves in a safe area.

I'll be there from 8:30am ish to about 11:00am. Paddling is fun but paddling with friends is even better. 

Btw, there is no swimming at this lake. There is a guard at the front of the lake that watches for this as well as reminding everyone of safety rules.
