He is currently the executive director of the non-profit SERVE - South East Resource Veterans Effort, for the past 9 years and currently is an active board member for various organizations including, the Rotary Club of Greater Houston Veterans, Clear Lake Chamber of Commerce, Galveston County CISM and Stay Tuned For Vets.Jay has been married for nearly 36 years to his lovely bride Lauri, has three children, and 7 grandchildren. Together they own a custom wooden flag company called Charred and Starred where they craft beautiful one-of-a-kind flags to honor our military and first responders.
