A year-around first Thursday of the month community prayer gathering is held from 8:30AM to 9:30AM in front of the Friendship Central School at 48 West Main Street.
The event, hosted by the What God is Doing in Friendship ny alliance of churches, is focused on prayer for the school and its students, teachers, other school personnel, the Board of Education, parents and caregivers, along with others.
A free continental breakfast is provided following the prayer gathering at the Bible Baptist Church, 43 West Main Street, across the street from the school, the prayer site in event of inclement weather.
Individuals do not have to be associated with a Friendship church to attend or pray. Those unable to attend due to work or other schedules are encouraged to pray wherever they may be at that time, or at one or more other times during the day and week.
On every additional Thursday of the month, weekly community prayer is held at 8:30AM at the Mission House, former site of St. Andrew's Church, rectory and offices, at 28-32 East Main Street, Friendship, which also is followed by a free continental breakfast.
All who wish to pray or have prayer for individual, community, or other concerns are invited to participate.
Handicapped accessibility and parking are available at the rear of the complex.
