- **Event Description**: The Annual Duck Derby is a charitable event in which hundreds of numbered rubber ducks are released into the stream at Friendship Park just below the dam on Friendship Lake to compete in a race toward a finish line. Participants "adopt" one or more ducks (duck tickets are 1/$10 or 3/$20).... with each duck assigned a unique number corresponding to the adopter/duck ticket. On race day, the adopted ducks are simultaneously released,  they float along the course, driven by the natural current or wind. The first duck to cross the finish line wins, with prizes awarded to the adopters of the top three (3) ducks with the corresponding number to the ticket sold! 1st place-$1000, 2nd place-$500, 3rd place- $250

Duck tickets can be purchased ahead of the event at locations listed on the flyer, and on the day of the event until 11:45 am.. Do not need to be present to win!

Grab a bite at the brat fry hosted by DAFI( Downtown Adams-Friendship Improvement) ,and explore booths from amazing local organizations like Adams County 4-H, Adams County Historical Society, Adams County Sheriff’s Office, Trinity Lutheran Church Arkdale, and Flexi AF.

And don’t miss the bounce house hosted by the Adams County Fire District, and kids craft tables!—fun for the whole family!
