Kreativität, Magie und Techno, durchzogen von Geniestreichs – das ist "The Reason Y". Seit 2007 sorgt er mit seinem rawen, hypnotischen und minimalistischen Sound für Aufsehen.
"Die Magie des Techno und die Verbindung mit dem Publikum treiben mich an. Doch musikalisch bin ich nie auf ein Genre festgelegt – auch Drum’n’Bass,UK Garage oder House finden ihren Weg in meine Sets."
Seine Leidenschaft begann im Hohen Norden, als Vinyl Collecter und wo er seine Mixing Skills perfektionierte. Heute prägt er die Szene mit seinen einzigartigen Produktionen, die von Größen wie Pan-Pot oder Gregor Tresherunterstützt werden und mit seiner eigenen Eventreihe TRY Land im ehemaligen Watergate und regelmäßigen Gigs im Sisyphos in Berlin oder Fridas Pier in Stuttgart um nur ein paar zu nennen. Er bespielt internationale Events die vom Womb Tokio bis zum OFF Sonar Barcelona reichen. Ob im Studio oder auf der Bühne: The Reason Y keeps the Spirit. ?
