We are planning an early morning hike to watch the sunrise at the top of Pincushion Mountain by Millerton Lake. Get out of your bed early to breathe the fresh, crisp air and feel the nice warmth of Fresno county sunrise with us! Details down below:

Elevation gain: 666ft
Estimated completion time: 1-2hrs

4:45pm : Carpool meet up in GB3 parking lot on Palm and Nees.

5:30pm : Meet up at south trailhead entrance and begin hike at 5:40pm.

6:30pm : Reach peak and prepare for sunset. Relax, take photos, and enjoy the view.

7:45pm : Head back down to trailhead. Get back to trailhead by 8:30pm.

Packing suggestions: Two regular water bottles. One or two snacks. Shades for sunset. A thin full body layer to cover from the sun and light-weight jacket for the hike down. Small flashlight or headlamp to help navigate back down (phone works as well).
