With 10 years of experience in printmaking, Sarah takes her inspiration from historical and fantasy art. Sarah's current work draws upon themes from Greek Mythology, and we're delighted to have her join us at PMG to deliver a workshop inspired by the recent Helios exhibition at Grimsby Minster.In this workshop you will :develop and refine linocut printmaking skillscarving and printing your own design based on the themeuse the studio space, printing presses and equipmentIs suitable for :Adults interested in developing their existing printmaking practiceWhat to prepare :An image to work with - photograph/line drawing A6 to A5 sizeWe're challenging you this time to base your ideas on the theme of the Greek God of the Sun, Helios. Feel free to interpret the theme using imagery inspired by Sun gods and goddesses from whichever culture you choose... Helios, Icarus, Theia, Sunna or use your visit to Helios at Grimsby Minster as the starting point.Any other info :Dress for messThe cost of this workshop includes specialist materials that you will be using and drinks at £10 per person.The artist tuition and studio costs are subsidised by What If We Create's Print Heritage Project at £20, supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund.Places available 8 people - Donation for materials is £10 per person.
