Weirdo Night

For one night only, Weirdo Night comes to ArtYard. Hosted by “crackpot genius” Dynasty Handbag (aka Jibz Cameron), this long-running underground variety show celebrates the absurd, the brilliant, and the beautifully unhinged through comedy, music, performance art, drag, and whatever else can happen onstage.

Performers include drag poet Illustrious Pearl, dance troupe HAAGS, music and comedy genius Francasca D’Uva, and extraterrestrial performance artist Claywoman.

“It’s maybe a place to come and laugh and forget the troubles of the day, or whatever, but it’s more like a catharsis to be with other people,” Cameron says in an Atlas Obscura feature on Weirdo Night. “I don’t like to go anywhere. I’d rather just stay in my house and stuff to hide, but I need to support others and look people in the eye and be like, maybe I can do something to just make you feel a little more supported.”

This performance includes inclusive content and is geared towards audience members 18 and older.
