Aqualumina Workshop: Rain Cloud Lanterns

Please join us for a workshop to create rain cloud lanterns to wear in Aqualumina’s lantern parade on May 9.

Artist Kate Lambdin will host three workshops: from 5 to 7 PM on Thursday, Feb. 26 and 1 to 3 PM on Sundays, March 8 and March 15.

Limit 15 participants per session. The workshop is $20. Participants will use a hot glue gun — children under 14 should be assisted by an adult.

Rain Cloud Lanterns are inspired by Keiko Lynn’s generous DIY tutorial. The hats may be paired with Shibori River Suits or worn with an aqueous outfit of your own design.

Aqualumina is a nighttime riverside lantern festival of music, visual art, and community, and a celebration of the beauty and vulnerability of the Delaware River and river systems worldwide.
